A partnership of substance

Destination Luberon

Hilltop villages, vineyard estates and a UNESCO-listed landscape within easy reach of the UK. The tourist office behind Luberon Cœur de Provence joins the 2026 awards as event partner.

Destination Luberon is the official tourist office for the Luberon Cœur de Provence area of the Vaucluse, and a proud event partner of the Travelling for Business Awards. From its year-round welcome offices in Cavaillon, Gordes and Lourmarin, its team promotes one of the most celebrated corners of southern France to visitors, event planners and the travel trade alike.

The destination stretches across the western Luberon, taking in the market city of Cavaillon and a string of hilltop villages that includes Gordes and Lourmarin, both officially listed among the most beautiful villages in France. The entire territory sits within the Parc naturel régional du Luberon, a protected landscape recognised by UNESCO as both a Global Geopark and a World Biosphere Reserve, and that setting shapes everything the tourist office does. Destination Luberon has built its brand around sustainable, people-centred tourism that respects the identity of the region it serves.

A serious contender for business events

While the Luberon is best known as a leisure destination, it has quietly become a compelling choice for corporate retreats, incentive trips and executive off-sites. Destination Luberon’s dedicated incoming department works directly with companies and agencies, designing tailor-made stays and day programmes for professional groups and managing projects from first enquiry through to delivery. Vineyard tastings, Provençal cookery, cycling through the vines and workshops in lavender and olive oil country give organisers team-building options that feel a world away from a hotel conference suite, a point our editors explored on an autumn journey through the Luberon built around gastronomy, wellness and quiet luxury.

Access is simpler than the region’s rural image suggests. Cavaillon sits within easy reach of Avignon’s TGV station and Marseille Provence Airport, putting the Luberon a short transfer from direct UK connections.

Where to stay and what to expect

The area’s hospitality ranges from vineyard estates to boutique village hotels. Travelling for Business has reviewed several first-hand, including Domaine de Fontenille, a vineyard retreat in Lauris, and L’Isle de Leos Hotel and Spa at the gateway to the Luberon Regional Nature Park.

As an event partner of the Travelling for Business Awards, Destination Luberon brings that same spirit of Provençal hospitality to the UK’s leading celebration of excellence in business travel. Plan a visit at destinationluberon.com.
