Reliability, the least glamorous virtue in aviation, may be Jet2.com's most valuable. The airline's operational record through recent demanding summers, holding schedules while parts of the industry buckled, has become part of its commercial identity, and its willingness to overstaff customer care by industry standards means disruption, when it comes, is managed by humans rather than endured through chatbots. Business bookers notice such things, because a missed connection costs more than any fare saving.
